The Core of Our Beliefs

Cave City First United Methodist Church is a congregation that practices opens hearts, opens minds and opens doors through active engagement within our Community. Our mission is to love everyone like Christ and to make disciples of Jesus for the transformation of the world. 

John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today and practice three general rules: 

General Rule #1 is to do no harm. 
General Rule #2 is to do good. 
General Rule #3 attend upon all the ordinances of God.

Who is Cave City United Methodist Church?

We are a loving group of people who pray together, worship together and pretty much do all aspects of life, TOGETHER. All are welcome to attend here and All means ALL! We are a church where anyone has a seat at Jesus' table. We may not have it all figured out, but through faith, love and asking questions in a safe environment we can make a difference for Christ. People loving God, learning to be more like Jesus and less like ourselves, and serving the community is who we are."
